Chris Bishop is Chief Research Scientist at Microsoft Research Cambridge, and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and a Fellow of Darwin College Cambridge. His research interests include machine learning and its applications.
Probabilistic approaches to machine learning, as well as their application to fields such as biomedical sciences and healthcare.
